January 29th - They reconstructed the ceiling in the new kitchen area. Allen had the idea to "pop up" the center of the area, so it is around 12" taller and gives it some interest! They put the windows in this area too and made the roof joists over the new bathroom and additional space in the bedroom. Bryan contributed today and pull off some more drywall in the hall and he finished taking down the old mantel yesterday.

Thursday and Friday - 14th & 15th
Lots going on...the carport (aka new kitchen) got formed and plumbing roughed...new center wall... now the hold up will be the weather (really cold) and plumbing inspection will more than likely be delayed until Tuesday because of Monday's Holiday. Should be warm enough for concrete by then..Hopefully!!!

Renovation - Day 1
Monday - January 5, 2009
What a way to start the New Year!!! Just a couple things left in the house and that is good, because we've already lost part of a wall and the dining room and kitchen have been demolished. We thought we could get away with not cleaning out all of the attic, but we were wrong! So now we're
renting a POD to put all of it in as we have the house across the street filled to capacity!
